Whittaker’s launches Honey Nougat & Almond campaign via Breakout Room, MBM, Satellite, AKQA & SweeneyVesty

WELLINGTON, Tuesday: Auckland/Wellington creative content agency Breakout Room has created a new AUNZ campaign for Whittaker’s latest product, Honey Nougat & Almond block.

Produced in combination with MBM, Satellite, AKQA and SweeneyVesty, the campaign aims to prove that “pure chocolate craft reigns supreme with a Whittaker’s finest local ingredients at the very heart of it”.

Lifting the veil on the Whittaker’s factory, chocolate lovers are given a glimpse of the magical world of the latest block creation through TV and a social film – created entirely in-house by Auckland/Wellington agency Breakout Room.

Breakout Room head of content Amber Ardern said: “We have always loved crafting incredible Instagram creative for Whittaker’s, but this campaign is the pièce de resistance, a campaign that takes our previous work to the next level. It’s as delicious as the block itself.”

“Working with digital innovation company Satellite, viewers were catapulted into the world of Whittaker’s to experience the craft and care which goes into each block of Honey Nougat & Almond.

“Taste-testing along the way, with ingredient-inspired dishes designed by chef Will Mordido, it was a n immersive sensory event that took guests to delicious new heights.

Whittaker’s marketing manager Liv Glazebrook said: “The innovative and immersive campaign elements have really helped to drive awareness around the Honey Nougat & Almond launch, and we’ve already had lots of feedback from chocolate lovers saying it’s a new favourite.”
