TVNZ programming team restructure: A restructure of the TVNZ programming team has seen two senior roles rolled into one, and the disestablishment on another.

The broadcaster has created an expanded senior role, Network Programmer TV ONE & Pay Channels, which was previously two separate jobs.

Juliet Peterson has been promoted to the new senior position from her previous work in pay channels & digital media. She’s been with TVNZ since 2006; before that, she worked in broadcast programming roles at TV3.

TVONE Network Programmer John Wright’s position has been disestablished, so he leaves TVNZ after seven and half years. “John has made a terrific contribution to TV ONE’s success in recent years – he leaves with the channel on top,” said corporate affairs comms manager Georgie Hills.

Next month Jeanneane McKay will start as TV2 Network Programmer. She has over 10 years’ experience in television, and has previously worked as the channel’s associate programmer. “We’re pleased to welcome her back into the TVNZ fold,” said Hills.
