Aussie ‘sorry’ for sheep-shagger/dole-bludger rant

Karl Stefanovic, the famously mouthy presenter of Channel 9 Australia’s The Today Show, has ‘apologised’ for Thursday’s show when he branded Kiwis as dole-bludgers with an unhealthy relationship with their farm animals, and Indians as shopkeepers.

His original rant had been aimed at Australia’s opponents in the Cricket World Cup semis and finals. He wondered “who will be manning the 7-Elevens?” during the Australia-India semifinal, then labelled Kiwis everywhere as “dole-bludgers with attractive livestock”.

The ‘apology’, which just rubs in it beautifully, is a classic!
