The two-year honeymoon appears to be over between VW and Colenso BBDO, which won the account from DDB – where it prospered for 11 years – in 2013.
The circumstances of the break-up were not known at press time.
Neither Colenso head of activations & PR Paul Gunn nor agency chief Nick Garrett were available this morning. Both, we were told by reception, “are in a meeting”. Even Gunn – usually fast to respond – has been gagged, and is not answering emails or phone calls.
VW is an FCB Media client, but it appears this relationship is unchanged.
