Whybin\TBWA client service director Jodi Willocks has left – but the position of ECD Dave King is unclear.
M+AD asked agency ceo Todd McLeay if a suggestion that King had resigned was correct – “Dave still works for us,” he said emphatically, choosing not to address a suggestion that King is currently on gardening leave, and may yet leave anyway.
We couldn’t reach King for comment – the agency receptionist said he was “away today”.
McLeay was unequivocal about Willcocks, however. “Jodi has left,”he said. “It was sad to see her go – she was an amazing person on our team but we are super lucky in that already in our agency was Robyn Budd.
“Robyn has held some of the most senior roles in the TBWA network and when she decided to return to New Zealand it was a no brainer to make room for her. We are now able to promote her to the role of client services director effective immediately. We are delighted to have had the option.”
