Lead singer Danny O’Donoghue of multi-platinum band The Script stars in Hallenstein Brothers latest campaign created by Lachlan McPherson & Friends (the new Auckland agency formed by ECD Lachlan McPherson and star creative Mikhail Gherman when Mojo NZ folded in 2012) and filmed in Cuba.

No mass reach this year without Digital?

In 2015 advertisers will be unable to achieve mass reach without Digital, according to the NZ Interactive Advertising Bureau. Digital advertising’s explosive growth continued unabated in New Zealand in Q4 2014, reaching a record $168m (a 32% year-on-year increase), according to the latest IAB/PwC Revenue Report.

With the preliminary judging completed last week, CAANZ have today released the finalists who will move forward to the next Executive round of judging.  These finalists are all in contention to put a new Axis trophy in the awards cabinet.

Seven NZ entrants have made it through to the finals of Australia’s premier ad show, the AWARD Awards. Four from DDB made the cut (all in Promotion & Experiential, DDB also scored one finalist in PR, along with Colenso BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi. The Sweet Shop scored seven finalist spots (not counted in our NZ table because of the filmmaker’s global footprint).

And ApolloNation Auckland scored two finalist spots (for Tui Catch A Million), both in the Best Sponsorship or Partnership campaign.
