Emily Brown has been appointed account manager with Auckland-based, Bare PR. Most recently, Emily was at Hustle and Bustle and Castleford Media where she managed a number of projects spanning fashion, food and beverage. In her new role at Bare PR she will be managing and working across a range of beauty and FMCG clients.

A New Zealand-formed digital marketing company has signed up one of Australia’s largest retail groups. Traff1k D1g1tal has been named as the new search marketing agency for True Alliance, the Australian distributor for some of the world’s leading brands including Reebok, Speedo, Ben Sherman, Lacoste, Lee, Nautica, The North Face, UGG Australia and Wrangler.

The first round of finalists have been announced for the 2016 Clio Awards – and they include two kiwi agencies. Y&R NZ has been shortlisted in Integrated Campaigns for Burger King “McWhopper” and Colenso BBDO has been shortlisted in Ambient for DB Breweries “Brewtroleum”.

Media merger decision delayed until March

The Commerce Commission has agreed to delay its decision on plans to merge our two media giants. In a statement released this morning, the Commission said while we can expect a “draft determination” in November it agreed with NZME and Fairfax to delay a final decision until March next year.

As named by NBR they are: Colin and Dale Armer of Armer Farms, Peter Beck of Rocket Lab, Carmel Fisher of Fisher Funds Management, Ranjna Patel of Nirvana Health Group and Jos Ruffell of Garage Projects.
