It’s a hard watch but Clemenger BBDO Wellington’s ‘Mistakes’ road safety commercial has scored the International Honour Award at AdStars Festival and the concept has been picked up and screened in many countries around the world. The commercial features two drivers in a hopeless conversation leading up to an inevitable and nasty crash.

Whybin\TBWA’s has made a series of gritty images the centrepiece of its campaign for Independent Liquor New Zealand’s Woodstock Black launched in Auckland this week. The Woodstock Black creative is a celebration of time, championing the wrinkles, tattoos, and eclectic jewellery earned over the lives of the characters that feature in the work.

UK booze ban on rum TVC

A commercial for Captain Morgan Rum has been banned by the UK advertising watchdog for suggesting alcohol can improve people’s confidence. The ad went to-air in May and is set on a pirate ship and features a man dancing and swinging on a rope with the Captain Morgan face superimposed over his own.
