APN NZ Media has established a digital business development team to work across agency sales. The team is part of the company’s strategy to increase the digital expertise within the advertising sales teams, and to continue providing multi-channel solutions for clients.

Direct from the northern beaches of Sydney: Wellington-based national digital/creative recruiter TalentShop has recruited consultant Jessica Haines from Firebrand Sydney.

Two new senior appointments have been announced in Auckland by Saatchi & Saatchi and Carat.

Saatchi & Saatchi has promoted business director Paul Wilson to the new role of general manager. He will continue in his former role and will retain all his client responsibilities for Toyota/Lexus and DB, but he will now have more involvement with the senior leadership.

TV ONE publicist Dominica Leonard has resigned to join World Vision as a PR advisor. “Hopefully, it will be as much fun as working in television has been,” she says.

Assignment Group has hired Kathryn Robinson as strategist/planning director. Previously, she was JWT Auckland head of planning. Also new at Assignment are Aimee McCammon (in a senior marketing role), and Amanda Oliver, who joins as head designer.
