MDS wins gold, silver, bronze in Singapore
MDS AdSchool students have won gold, silver and bronze at the International Crowbar Awards. The gongs came in the copywriting, print, art direction, direct mail, ambient and cinematography categories.

Sydney & Auckland global search firm Hourigan International has appointed Natasja Barclay as managing partner and Gillian Gibson as leadership consultant in the Auckland office. (A release mix-up yesterday caused M+AD to run a very old release in error – Mark Jenner left Hourigan in April to join Interbrand NZ as managing director. And he’s still there! M+AD and Hourigan regret the error.)
String Theory taps Argentina for labour of love
Argentine art & motion studio Plenty has collaborated with Auckland brand agency String Theory to create a short film, We Need To Talk About Alice, to raise awareness of charity book website Good Books. The short film coincides with the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
AWARD NZ picks its winners
Jemma Titheridge has been named New Zealand’s top AWARD School student at a graduation ceremony at Little Easy in Ponsonby. Second place was awarded to Robert Chapman, with Amy-Rose Lynch taking third place.
