NZ-owned and operated digital outdoor media business Lumo has taken on three senior staffers to help run the company’s fast-growing portfolio.

The Clemenger Group New Zealand has announced that Craig Whitehead has resigned as chief creative officer at 99 retail advertising agency, effective June 30.

MediaWorks has appointed Cathy O’Sullivan as head of digital for Newshub where she will lead Newshub’s strategy & editorial direction for its digital properties, including newshub.co.nz , social channels and other platforms.

Janet Smith has joined NZME today as GM, Digital Ventures – Driven, reporting into chief digital officer Laura Maxwell. Smith has most recently been with Fairfax Media, initially in a commercial transformation role, and was later promoted to national sales director responsible for driving direct revenue across NZ.

Industry veteran Lee Parkinson begins today as strategic director of Strategy Creative Christchurch. Previously, he worked at Christchurch agency Plato.

FCB has promoted Blair Alexander, previously FCB Media general manager, to the role of media managing director, taking over from Rufus Chuter, who leaves in May (destination unknown, at this stage).
